The core of the Kamatz community is our synagogue, where we hold family prayers in an open and equitable spirit.
Prayers are held on Friday evenings at 17:00 (winter time) and 17:30 (summer time).
Friday Night Prayers are open to all!
On Saturday mornings, there is usually a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, however, when there is no B’nei Mitzvah ceremony, we hold an “Our Own Shabbat” service which is a Shabbat of integrated creative prayer and teaching under the guidance of community members (please check our monthly calendar).
Prayer on Shabbat is very important, both on the community and personal levels, and on Saturday mornings, it is a different experience, offering the possibility to rise to the Torah in a more intimate atmosphere.
Our Rav Alona can provide you with the support, information and resources to celebrate all family and lifecycle events including births, baby naming, B’nei Mitzvah, weddings and funerals with us in Israel.
